Couple issues – Widgets and unclickable links in theme

Hi Everyone,
I have two issues that i would bee deeply grateful if you could help me with.
#1.) I have a problem with my right sidebar. While i can add widgets to it via the widgets selection, I have no .php file to edit the sidebar manually. All I have is “Sidebar.php” and that only edits the left sidebar – I am usually pretty god with figuring things out, but in any of the pages i cannot find how to add/remove content from the right sidebar and i have been through my pages with a fine toothed comb. I must be missing something obvious.
The category section does not act like a widget – in fact, on my widgets page it does not even show it as being added. It shows *no* widgets in that sidebar. Funny how the widgets page shows me as having both a left and right sidebar – and I can add a widget to the right sidebar, but for example; The category section is there by default- (was on download of the new theme) While my widgets say that there is nothing in that sidebar, I can add the category widget too the sidebar, and then i have 2 category sections in the same sidebar. Removing it only removes the category widget i added while the one that was there by default remains, much to my aggravation.
Should i not have a .php page for both the left and right sidebar to edit them manually? Should somehow the right sidebar, which is virtually inaccessible via the pages, not have some page of it’s own? It’s must, something in the .php pages I do have is telling it what to display! I have looked all over in the Main Index Template, Page Template, theme functions, Header, Footer, Sidebar, and even Theme functions and i cannot find the content of the right sidebar in any of them. Perhaps someone can point out what I’m overlooking.
Usually I look for content in the <h3> tags, thats usually what contains headings and sections i want to remove or add. Any help would be deeply appreciated.

The second issue I’m having, if you look at the link above you will see that the linked items immediately below the header (The first two links in “Cast” seaction, as well as the indomitable “Categories” Section, and the last post made, teh first to appear on visit) seem to have an invisible box over them, on mouse-hover you cannot interact with the links in those areas. Any idea what could be wrong here?
