  That code was issued on May, and was only valid for 24 hours from the time it was sent out. It’s no longer a valid code to use on WordPress.com.

  I notice your account was only created in June, so I’m guessing you got this from a coupon website?

  Please note that WordPress.com never publishes coupons on websites like those. WordPress.com discount coupons are emailed directly to site owners, and only to site owners who are eligible for the specific promotion the coupon is for.
