coutoire theme: changing background colour to match logo

    feel so silly but i’m new to this and currently very confused:( anyone have any ideas as to how i can change the background colour of my ‘coutoire’ theme website, so that it matches the background colour of my header logo?

    Hi there,

    You will be able to do this if you go to My Site > Design > Customise > Colours & Backgrounds. However, this is only available for certain themes. I have installed Coutoire to my test site but there is no option to do this. If you want to change to a theme that has this ability, you can change your theme by going to My Site > Design > Themes. You should read the info pages about the theme you want to install to check it has the ability to change colours and backgrounds.

    Note that, if after you change your theme, your current homepage changes, it has likely been unpublished and you will be able to find it by going to My Site > Site > Pages > Drafts. You can bring it back again with the new theme by republishing your old homepage and deleting the new template.
    If you don’t want a theme that has the ability to change the background colour, you can either pick a similar theme that already has the colours you want, or use CSS to adjust the colours as you like. (You’d need a Premium plan for the CSS option.)
