CPU overload in my paid host but not in WP.com’s

    My blog is based in WP software and has been in the paid hosting service I have my domain in, using Daleri-Sweet theme and several pretty common widgets.

    Then I moved it to WP.com using Andreas 04 theme with 10 widgets.

    Why is it that it was blocked in the paid hosting service due to CPU overload (this was reason for moving), but in WP.com seems not to have that problem so far?

    The software here is different that that used for self-hosted blogs and there are also a lot more restrictions on .COM users that most likely prevent what you are describing from happening here. For one thing we cannot use plugins here, and plugins although very useful, can cause these types of problems if they are not wholly compatible with the wordpress software. Also, we cannot use javascript, flash, iframes or forms here due to security concerns and again, a little bad javascript, or flash in the sidebar can cause these problems also.
