Copying HTML into a Widget
-
I have created a PayPal account and have copied the HTML language that puts the “Donate” button on one of the pages on the blog. I would like to put it on the home page (at the top of the side bar in a Widget) and also create a “Donations” page and put it in there. When I use the Text widget and paste the HTML into either the Title or the body of it, it shortens the language considerably and nothing shows up on the page. Help! How/Where do I paste this HTML so the Donations button will appear?

I can’t seem to find your text widget with the PayPal code. Please carefully follow the steps in this guide to get the proper HTML code.

Thank you for responding…..ok I followed the instructions and created the Donations button with no problem. Now I have to paste the link html from Paypal into the Donations page I created. To do this you are supposed to click on the Link icon while in Visual mode. My Link icon is not active for some reason so I do the Alt+Shift+A keystrokes and the Link screen does appear. So I paste the link in and save it and….nothing…the Donations button doesn’t work…I also tried to do it in a Text Widget with the same result. I left everything up because judging from your post, you can go in and check it out…I swear I’ve done everything the way it was told…I used the Email option and not the Website option in PayPal…I don’t know! Please help thank you….
