Craziness with my blog

So I just bosted a new blog today and realized a few paragraphs were missing when I looked at it later in the day. I retyped the paragraph, hit save and it was gone. Did it again, and it was gone. I must’ve done this 5 times. I finally got the missing paragraph to show up, but now the page that the post is on is formatted weird, all the links and widgets in the left hand column have shifted to the bottom of the page, and there’s a teeny tine little smiley face up top. All my other posts are fine. Here it is:
What is sort of scaring me is that a friend of mine just had her blog hacked and I’m wondering if someone is messing around with me and my blog. Anyone have any idea what could be happening here?

Since there are no pictures in that post, it’s got to be some messy code in there. Try editing the post and cleaning up the code. Use icon #7 on the bottom row. http://faq.wordpress.com/2006/05/15/what-do-all-the-icons-mean/

Thanks. I just read about Angela, but why is it suddenly showing up in only one of my posts? It’s thrown off the whole layout. I thought it was supposed to be transparent?
Good to know about not getting hacked. My friend had alot of trouble when hers got hacked.

Angela isn’t on the post, it’s on every page of your blog. Because your footer is at the top on that page, that’s why you’re seeing it.

Its’ such a good metaphor: people only notice Angela when there’s trouble.
Matt’s remark is interesting. I ALWAYS do that, but haven’t yet run into this problem. Looks like cleaning up the code is the only solution.
