This is the result of clicking your username link:
incidentreportor.wordpress.com is no longer available.
The authors have deleted this blog.If you are referring to a self hosted WordPress.ORG install then the codex applies and you are posting to the wrong support forum for your software. You must post here > http://wordpress.ORG/support/
If you are referring to a free hosted WordPress.com blog then the codex does not apply and you are posting to the correct sup[port forum. What applies for free hosted by WordPress.com blogs is found here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/front-page/
I recommend that you read > WordPress.COM cs WordPress.ORG: The differences > http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/ -

Hello again,
Please link your username to your active blog. Dashboard -> Users -> Personal Settings -> then scroll down to Account Details. Then scroll down to where it says ‘Website‘ select the URL for your primary wordpress.com blog and then save changes. Now every time you sign into the forum we can all click on your username and your blog will be linked to it. And every time you leave a comment on a blog your username can be likewise clicked and your blog can be instantly located.
This is not a theme related issue. We create static front pages the same way on all themes and the instructions are at the link I provided above > http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/front-page/

Hi timethief,
I followed the instructions on the support page you linked me to and now I have two home page tab and a post tab that I don’t want.
I also tried reading this to hide one of my home page tab, but found the support page not helpful. http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/hide-pages/
Also, I updated my account information, but it isn’t updating correctly.
So here is my site.
http://incidentreportbmf.wordpress.com/I appreciate the effort your putting in to help me.

Several themes have a special header tab, usually “Home” and tab is hard-coded into the theme: you cannot edit or remove it (except in the few cases noted) here > http://wpbtips.wordpress.com/2009/05/06/the-home-tab/
If you do not wish to change themes then the solution is to create a custom menu and include in that menu only what you want to include. Staff have provided help for those who want to structure their blog like a website. > http://en.support.wordpress.com/using-wordpress-to-create-a-website/ You must comprehend fully the differences between pages and posts > http://en.support.wordpress.com/post-vs-page/
The instructions for creating a custom menu are found here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/ -
Hurray!
I got it to work. Thanks timethief for your help.
I just kept messing around with the “parent attribute” and it worked. Not sure exactly what parent attribute function means, but it helped me get the job done. -
