  Hi,

  you can manage your blogroll using Dashboard > Links. Then you need to add the Links Widget from the Appearance -> Widgets page.

  How can I do that if I don’t have a ‘Links’ option under my Dashboard?

  Read carefully. hannahshabitatorg.wordpress.com, is a WordPress.com blog.

  Every WordPress.com admin page should have navigation menu running down the left hand side which includes a links tab. The links tab drops down when hovered over to give you the options: “All Links,” “Add New,” and “Link Categories.”

  “Blogroll” is the lone default link category. You can either keep that category and add links to it, or create your own categories. Then, whenever you create a new link you can assign it to the chosen existing category, or create a new category for it to reside in.

  @mrlubomir: Thank you. I was not aware I was in the wrong place. I was taken here froma link off a link off the ‘Help’ button in my Dashboard.

  @musicdoc1: I gathered that there was supposed to be a ‘Links’ option under my Dashboard. I did not have that. I had no option for ‘Links’ or for ‘Blogroll’. However, I foumd a work-through that does work (involved downloading the ‘Link Manager’ plugin).

  As mrlubomir indicated WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support forums. http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

  If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the Theme support forums there.
