  Hello,

  If you want to first start with WordPress before domain mapping, you can create a free website *.wordpress.com website for now and then map later.

  Hi wildbeautyphoto,

  I’m just following up on the modlook tag added to this thread. The suggestion @pranaliwp offered means you can create a free site on WordPress.com and connect an existing domain at a later date.

  The domain can either be mapped or transferred to WordPress.com whenever you are ready to make the switch (both options require a paid plan).
