  Hi, I have a current e-commerce website and want to create a new one.
  I want to create the new website with WordPress but want to know where to start as I want my other website online whist I build the new one.
  Do I need to get hosting first?

  How many product does the WordPress ecommerce can have?

  Where can I get a list of the add-ons that I can get with WordPress e commerce?

  Your current host may have an option for that, or you’re welcome to host your new site with us before pointing the domain here. That way your current site can stay “live” until your new one is ready.

  If you host here with us so we can provide SSL, support, security, hosting, etc, I do recommend getting a plan earlier on if you’ll need it. That way you’ll have access to features you might find useful, including direct support:
  https://wordpress.com/plans

  Then just avoid using the domain options until you’re ready, and then you can map or transfer the domain.
