Create a Fixed Header on Multiple Pages on Twenty Eleven
-
Hi wordpress.com community,
I am creating a website for my graduate program and was asked to put different pictures as the header image for each page. I know that Twenty Eleven has this capability because I saw it in the demo. However, I cannot find the option to do this anywhere on the dashboard or in the customization process.
I tried to add an image to a page that was 1000×288 pixels, yet that just created a big image post under the header. I know that I can randomize two images, but I would rather have fixed images for the homepage and the rest of the pages that I have created.
Your input is greatly appreciated.

Thank you for the response.
I’ve seen that post already, but it does not give step-by-step instructions on how to have several fixed headers or make a featured image a header.
I would like detailed feedback on where I am supposed to go in the dashboard or customization areas – I do not see any option that lets me choose a specific header for a specific page.
I appreciate any input pertaining to this request.
