Create a footer (Exford theme)

    Hello!

    I have a quick question,

    (I currently have the free version of WordPress)

    I’d like to add a footer with just my contact details on my site, do you know how to do that? I’ve been trying to solve this problem for a while now and I can’t find any tabs that match it in ‘Customize’.

    I use the ‘Exford’ theme. Maybe it’s related, I wouldn’t want to change the theme because I’ve already spent several hours working with this theme …

    I also tried to add a ‘Footer Menu’ but I can’t just add information to this footer without referring to other pages for example.

    Your theme has support for a footer widget area, so you can add the Contact Info widget there.

    In the Customizer, click on Widgets ->Footer, and search for the Contact Info widget in the list of available widgets.

    Exford is a theme made by us, Automattic, so even if the OP’s site was self-hosted, we’d still help them in this forum – support for WordPress themes are not provided by the community in the general WordPress forums, but by the companies who make the respective themes, and there’s no theme forum for Exford over on WordPress.org.

    Thank you, thank you kokkieh !! I’ve been looking for this information for a long, long time.
    By any chance do you also know how I can change the color of the background of the pages and the header and not make the name of the pages appear at the top of each of them, as well as reduce the white space lost just below the header? It’s also some (a lot of) information I’m looking for :)

    Changing the background color in the Exford theme would require CSS, which is a feature included in the Premium and Business Plans:
