  I mean, Jesus. That just looks hella low-rent.

  Check the footer of your blog, people. It’s there. And it’s ugly. It’s not as if WordPress.com hasn’t been enjoying record growth without it.

  Ticky Tacky – not all themes have been changed yet – so coming to your site soon – the “Blog at WordPress.com” was not too bad – the new version has no class at all

  Thanks for the feedback. I have passed it along to our developers.

  If anyone has additional constructive feedback about why you don’t like the changes, with specifics, with positivity in mind, those kinds of things would be good notes to add here.

  If you just have insults, then it would not be very constructive or helpful to add here and it won’t do good to simply attack.

  WordPress.com is always experimenting to try to get better. The footer text is something we care about, and I genuinely care about hearing constructive feedback if you have any.

  I don’t find the footer text credits to be offensive. However, on some themes I find the font size to be far too large. I also find the duplication that galois has posted screen shots of above to be unnecessary.
