Create a new post – fatal error message

    Hi there,

    I’m experiencing a bit of a problem when trying to create a new post on WordPress today.

    Instead of a new page opening, I get the following message;

    I’m also finding that getting onto the site itself is very slow, it does come up eventually, but takes a couple of minutes. I’ve done also made sure all the latest updates and plugins have been done.

    Hi Nadia –

    Can you tell me which site you are working on when this error happens?

    Does it happen in multiple browsers?

    Hi Liz,

    Apologies, I’ve realised I’ve gone onto the WordPress.com support forum, instead of the WordPress.org by accident.

    But for reference, I tried both Firefox and Internet Explorer in case Chrome was the issue. But unfortunately I’m getting the same problem throughout.
