Create a Page for Recent Posts
-
Hi there,
I would like to list my Recent Posts on my website.
But I don’t want this on my Posts section.
Instead, I would like to create a Page, which automatically captures all of my Recent Posts.
I have noticed that downloadable plugins are available to do this sort of thing.
But I am using my iPad, and therefore, from my research, these products are unavailable for administration via an iPad.
Is it possible, that I can somehow get a widget shortlink for Recent Posts, or something else suitable, that would function on the iPad Dashboard?
I would be putting this on my Menu bar.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hello!
Installing plugins, is functionality that can only be used with WordPress.org. Since you are using WordPress.COM you’ll be unable to install plugins those downloadable plugins. You can learn more about that here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/plugins/
If you have any questions about the differences between WordPress.com and WordPress.org here is a great article on it: http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
However, there is a Recent Posts widget that you can put in your sidebar- which may be of help to you. You can learn more about that here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/recent-posts-widget/
Hope this helps!

Hey thanx Tish for such a lightning response,
all of the information that you have supplied me, is most helpful.
Isn’t there an Australian version of WordPress as well?
Maybe other languages too?I think that I’ll probably try this:
Create a new Page on my Menu Bar (and perhaps call it ARCHIVES), then manually add each Recent Post into it.
Because at this stage, I want my Posts to display on the whole screen, and don’t want any distracting Widgets, on the side, centre, or bottom.
