Create a preview icon of document for viewers to click on to download document?

    I want to create an icon for viewers to click on to download a .docx file and .pdf file – please help. Right now I am adding both files to my media bin, inserting them onto my pages and only the title is showing up for viewers to click on to download them. How can I make a preview of the document show up as the icon to click on to download it? Please help.

    You could use a graphics program to create icons, or find an existing icon to use. This is a good site with free icons:

    If you want a real preview of the document, you could take a screenshot of it, and then shrink it down in a graphics program, or using WordPress’s built-in image editing tools.
