Create a ‘Search by Brand’ widget in Sidebar

  Hi there

  I want to create a custom search panel in the Sidebar of my homepage. This will allow users to search via a brand or make.
  For example if looking for a car review they would get a list of makes, e.g Ford, Fiat, Audi etc and could click on the make to see every post using that brand.
  Can someone recommend the best Plugin/Widget to do this?

  If you’re categorising or tagging content, you may be able to utilise Jetpack Search: https://wordpress.com/support/jetpack-search/ which can work with an ordinary search widget in a sidebar or footer area: https://wordpress.com/support/widgets/search-widget/

  Categories and tags will help to granulise the content to help with searching and finding what people need.
