Create a second blog on my account?

    Hello WordPress. Thanks for the brilliant site.
    1st QUESTION : Can I create a second wordpress blog page, on my present account, linked to my current blog?
    (I clicked ‘Can I add another site in my account?’ below. Went to Video tutorial. It says click ‘Add New Site’ at ‘Home’ / ‘My Sites’. I click those places: NO ‘Add New Site’ button ANYWHERE. So the rest of the tutorial (which shows everything I want to do!) is completely useless. )
    Also tried entering ‘Add New Site’ on your Support / Help search bar. NOTHING that says ‘Add New Site’ or how to find that button!
    HELP would be appreciated. (I can gladly send you a screenshot, if you don’t believe me.)
    2nd Question: I created an ‘About’ page… but there’s no link for it on my blog’s Home page. No one can see that it’s there. Any fix?
    (So if I can create a second blog… can my two blogs display links to each other?

    Hi there:

    Yes, you can by going to your current site’s dashboard:

    https://wordpress.com/home/collinsassassination.wordpress.com

    Then, click “switch site” in the upper left of the screen, and at the bottom of the left-hand column, you’ll see the “Manage sites” and “Add new site” buttons:

    From there you should be able to create a new site.

    I created an ‘About’ page… but there’s no link for it on my blog’s Home page. No one can see that it’s there. Any fix?

    If you created a new Page you’ll also need to create a menu item to link to that page. You can follow the steps here to add your About page to your site’s menu:

    So if I can create a second blog… can my two blogs display links to each other?

    Can you give us more information about what you want to accomplish? You’re free to add links from one site to the other, but you would need to add those manually – there’s no way to automatically link between two different blogs or have content from one blog on the other.

    Thanks that’s very helpful. And/but…
    From “Add New Site” button, it keeps taking me to a PAID Domain registration.

    I just want to continue with the free version.

    Is this meant to tell me I can create a second site ONLY by registering for a PAID service?
    I’ve seen others with more than one page &/or blog on their free wordpress account.

    Hi there,

    When selecting a free site, you should see this as an option close to the top:

    Once you choose the free .wordpress.com subdomain, you should have the option to skip plan options from the link at the top:

    Let me know if you do not see either option.
