create a summary page
-
Hello,
I’m looking to create a summary page for my blog. I’d just like my audience to have the option to scroll through an abbreviated version of each post, wherein they see the title and a few words. I’d like this all to be on one page, perhaps called ‘posts’, that they can click to in order to see all the posts. I remember seeing an option to create such a page when I created the blog, however I didn’t have any posts to summarize then. Now I’m ready and I can’t figure out how to create this page.
Important to note that I don’t want this to be my home page, I just want it to be an option.
Thanks.

Hi JW,
Displaying abbreviated posts will only work on your main blog post page. However, take a look at this option to use an Archives Shortcode. It may suit your needs:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/archives-shortcode/If you think you can use it, you could create a new page called Posts, and embed the shortcode.
Please let us know if you have any other questions. Thanks much and happy blogging!
