create a website without wordpress hosting?

    I would like to create a website on WordPress but not sure how to do so. As I try to follow the steps, the only options I have found are those that would make me change my hosting company. I have hosting with another company and do not want to change at this time. I have a domain name, however my site is not yet up and running.

    Many hosting companies make it very easy to download the WordPress to your site and access it. First check with them to see if they have a control panel offering WordPress or can give you advice on getting set up. Then for followup forum help register for the forums at WordPress.org.
