  Hi there,

  I’m not sure I understand what you are trying to do when you mention you need to create an affiliate code. Can you explain a little more about what you are trying to set up?

  We have an affiliates program at https://refer.wordpress.com/ are you trying to set up an account there and generate an affiliate code? Or is it that you are trying to do something else instead, like embed affiliate codes on your website?

  Hi,

  This request came directly from one of our team, so I’m playing a little catch-up myself.

  We are participating in an online market and the organisers asked us to create an ‘affiliate code’ so they can track sales. When we asked the organisers what the affiliate code was, we were told WP would help. Sorry I can’t be more helpful.

  So that market will be selling products or services on your store, and they want an affiliate code from you so they can earn affiliate income for your products they sell? Is that correct?

  For that you’ll need an affiliate plugin, for example, https://woocommerce.com/products/affiliate-for-woocommerce/ or https://woocommerce.com/products/affiliate-program-for-woocommerce/ that are both sold on WooCommerce.com.
