Create an Intro or Splash Page on WordPress.com?

I am wondering if there is a way to create an intro page on the wordpress.COM interface. The reason is I want to have an animation of a color fading into another color, and then the logo appears. I am not seeing ‘Intro'(which is a theme that allows you to have a splash page) in the theme options for premium for wordpress.com. Any input is appreciated. Thanks.

Hi @cheeselove2, we don’t offer themes with splash pages: splash pages can make it harder for folks to find and use your content.
But if you wanted a very simple front page, we could help you set that up, and maybe even help you remove other parts of the page with CSS. Let us know if you need help with that.
By the way, that domain name doesn’t seem to be pointed here yet. You’ll want to update your domain to use these settings:
