Create an open collaborative blog

  I would like to create an open blog where anyone can post by signing in as a guest or user. It’s meant to be fun and share stories from around the world. Can I use WordPress for this or what program do you suggest?

  Hi there,

  You can use WordPress.com for this, and my suggestion is to use the P2 theme, which makes it very easy for anyone to write posts.

  I have to disagree with the staffer. P2 is not very forum-like, and it quickly becomes difficult to track things, but you can try. I, personally, think what you want is a Wiki or plain old Forum.

  Also, unless the blog Admin invites them to be Contributors, nobody can post images. This is quickly going to become a problem in most sites.
