Create child theme to Adelle from wp.com

    I have downloaded Adelle from wordpress.com to a self-hosted website. (chose to download Adelle from wordpress.com because it is differently designed)

    However, I have problems with creating a child theme. I can create child theme without any problem to the original (Adelle from wordpress.org) but it doesn’t work with Adelle from WordPress.com

    Should it not be possible to create a child theme for your version or how do I do?

    Help is greatly appreciated!

    All themes here at WordPress.com are adapted and licensed to run on our software. Some of themes we have here at WordPress.com also have versions for WordPress.org software.
