Create my site stuck at 'Adding your domain mapping'

although I already point my domain’s name server correctly to NS1.WORDPRESS.COM, NS2.WORDPRESS.COM, NS3.WORDPRESS.COM. This is my first site in wordpress, I selected free plan and stuck at step two!

Can you post the domain that you’re trying to add/map? It must already be registered, and are you trying to map it to intouchtechblog.wordpress.com?

If so, please try adding the domain again from here.

If it still doesn’t work, post any errors and I can tag this thread for Staff assistance.

Hi i have chosen a custom domain name and facing same problem. My site creation is stuck at adding your domain. tried many times but no success

My problem solved, it turned out to be I need to obtain a wordpress free domain first, and then start the mapping. Otherwise it doesn’t know who to map.

I think wordpress should pop up a hint in that case, instead of webpage sit there forever without any response.
