create new primary email

  I have a domain threeoranges.london held on GoDaddy which points at my WordPress blog:

  threeorangesblog.wordpress.com/

  I would like the email address for this to be something like ‘(email visible only to moderators and staff)’. This should be the one used for comments and notifications for my WordPress site. Is that possible?

  Also is it possible for my WordPress site to have the same name, so ‘threeoranges.london’, rather than ‘threeorangesblog.wordpress.com’.

  My personal email address is (email visible only to moderators and staff). I use it through Microsoft Outlook on my desktop PC. I’d just as soon not use this one for my WordPress site.

  Please see below:

  There are two options for custom email addresses at WordPress.com:

  1. Email forwarding, which forwards emails to a custom address to an address you already own. You can read more about that here:

     http://en.support.wordpress.com/email-forwarding/

  2. A custom email address, which would have a separate inbox but would be completed through a third-party as explained here:

     http://en.support.wordpress.com/add-email/

  Please note, email forwarding does not create a separate email inbox for your new address. It just forwards emails sent to that address to your current inbox.

  Take a look through those options and let me know how you would like to proceed!

  Also is it possible for my WordPress site to have the same name, so ‘threeoranges.london’, rather than ‘threeorangesblog.wordpress.com’.

  The address threeorangesblog.wordpress.com is your admin address at WordPress.com. It isn’t possible to get rid of that address. You will see it when you’re editing your blog while logged in. However, when you’re looking at the public view of your site, you should only see threeoranges.london. Readers will only see this address as well.
