create new site with same name

  hello
  i deleted my first website for creating it new, but the url was blocked (already used) when i tried to create a new site after a few seconds. can you unlock that name (tux4school.wordpress.com)?

  Oops! Blog names are not recyclable and the name of the deleted blog is gone forever. It can’t be used by anyone.

  You can check why is it that way in this support guide: https://en.support.wordpress.com/recycling-blog-names/

  You will have to pick a new name for your new site.

  Thank you. This is not what I wanted to hear.
  Users should be warned for that. There should be a note, that not only the content will be deletet for ever, but also the url will be locked.

  – couldnt you make an exception this time cause it was my own url and not anotherones.
  – if this is not possible, it would be nice to warn users more precise (in the popup), that not only the content will be deleted, but also the url will be gone for ever.
  – what about giving users 10 minutes after deleting an url for creating it again?

  I am sorry for your trouble.

  There are warnings and also confirmation email is sent before deleting the site.

  Unfortunately even staff can’t help bring back the deleted url.
