Create new users when importing

  The import tool doesn’t have an option to create the users that are attached to the posts I am importing.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  Users can’t be automatically created when importing content to WordPress.com. Instead, those users will need to create their own WordPress.com accounts. They can create an account without creating a new blog here:

  https://wordpress.com/start/account/user

  You can also invite them to become a member of your site (and create an account in the process, if needed) by following the steps in our guide to Inviting Contributors, Followers, and Viewers.

  Once each user is a member on the site, you can import the content and assign the authors for those posts to their corresponding WordPress.com usernames.
