Create new website but keep the old in place

  hi i want to build a new website from scratch, but want to keep the old one in place for now. Once I am happy with my new one, I want to replace the old one. Can I do this without any additional subscriptions and also within the same wordpress account?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  You are free to create as many websites or blogs you want with a single WordPress.com account. You will never be charged unless you subscribe to an upgraded plan or purchase a premium theme.
