Create partitions in the Media Pages

It would be so nice when I upload photo’s to be able to group them with previously loaded pictures.. Re: on my site I have a page for paintings by Pat and by Wanda as well as others that I add to on occassion. If I could keep them in separate groups it would be so much easier to review them

That is not possible in our current iteration of the Media Library but hopefully will be possible in the future.

I’d like to cast my vote for a feature like this, too. I have over 1,500 images in my media library now (it’s for a portfolio of my photography). It’s very cumbersome (and slow) having to scroll through my media library to look for a particular image (or images). Alternatively, it would help if the id # could be display underneath each image in the library. That way, I could just edit the html with the id of the image I wanted.
The blog I need help with is cuartooscurosite.wordpress.com.

Thank folks, I’ve recorded your votes.
In the meantime, consider renaming your files before uploading them, or adding something akin to to a folder name to each picture’s title. You can then use the search option to find that media easily.

I do recommend doing this before uploading from here on out.
But adding something to the title or description may not take much more time than reorganizing 1500 files. You can edit them from the media library.

Alright, well with your vote counted and suggestions given, I’m going to go ahead and close this thread. Best.
