create Paypal button

I have tried several times to create a paypal button on one of my site pages. It does not work. Paypal support says I am to contact you and ask how to “integrate HTML into my website”. I don’t know what this means so I hope you can help. When I try to paste the button onto my page, it pastes not the button but the code for it.

When I copy the code and paste as directed, I get not the button but the entire code for the button. Paypal support says I need to contact my site host to learn how to “integrate HTML into my website”. I don’t know what that means or how to do it. Can someone please advise me?

I appreciate your kind suggestions, but sorry, this did not work. It was the same avenue on paypal I tried before. I copied your detailed instructions and followed them to the letter. The result was the same: I pasted the code for the button instead of the actual button into my website. Paypal had previously advised me that I had to “integrate HTML” into my website for this to work. Whatever it is, I’m still unable to create the button.

It says to copy the URL from the Email form and NOT the code for the button. Can you confirm that is what you’re doing? Can you give me that URL?
