  I just want to create a table to show schedule for class readings for dates: 4 columns, 18 rows, with the left two columns narrow, just with dates. I’ve been crapping around with the new editor which purports to make this possible with no joy. I just want an excel-style table where I can adjust column width, and into which I can plug text. That’s it. And I’m not willing to crap around any more to figure this out because I have courses to prepare. If I just have to link file, ok. But I’d like to do this in wordpress. Why can’t I do this dumb little thing without bumping into all the WordPress bells and whistles? I just want a f*ing grid in which I can adjust column width.
