Create users & restrict to THEIR directory?

  Can you tell me how to create users (I know how to do that) and restrict them to THEIR own directory?

  I have users who will be developing their own websites, all of the content which will be in their directory only – they should not be able to see or alter anything in any other directory. If they want to upload their content via FTP…they should “land” in their directory and be able to see ONLY their files.

  Can someone tell me how to do this?

  That is not possible on WordPress.com.

  Neither is FTP access.

  I think you want to be at WordPress.ORG instead of WordPress.COM.
