Hi, I would like to create a website identical to Canape template, but with my information. I don’t know much about building websites, plugins, widgets, anything really…Are there any guides that walk you step by step? Anything would help really. Thank you.

Hi lorenzoiacopelli – are you looking to create a site here on WordPress.com? When you create a new site from scratch here with Canape, our setup tool will make your site look as much like the demo as possible. You can then go in and replace the “dummy” information with your own. If you’ve already created a site, I can also run the setup tool manually. Could you provide a link to your WordPress.com site if you have one?

Sorry, I sent you to the Canard forum instead of Canape! Here’s the right one:

Canape also has a setup guide here:

It’s geared for WordPress.com sites, so if you’re self-hosted, you’ll first need to install the Jetpack plugin and the setup steps may be a bit different. If you need specific help, just let us know, either here if it’s a WordPress.com site, or over on WordPress.org if your site is self-hosted.
