Created a new blog under my existing wordpress account. But I now wish to move the new site out of my account to a new wordpress account and login for it.

  I picked a new domain for a new blog today that i launched privately, using my existing wordpress.com account. But, i do not wish to keep both sites under my existing wordpress account. I want my new site created today to have a separate log in on wordpress and thus moved out of my original domain. How can i move the new site launched to a stand-alone site on wordpress? I am using the free wrodpress blog for both. Thanks

  Hi! No problem at all. Here’s how to change ownership:
  https://en.support.wordpress.com/transferring-a-site-to-another-wordpress-com-account/

  Once you’ve moved the site, you can change the author on all posts and pages. There’s a trick for “bulk editing” from wp-admin, but with it being a new site you probably won’t need to do that.
