Created a New User Name, Created My Website – Now WP States "No User Name"?
-
Hello bloggers,
I created a new user name, as I wanted to have a different website with different intentions. WP allowed me to create the username, a website, and complete everything with all my hopes and dreams. I connected it to an email address, the whole 9.
Did some down time for a couple weeks. Vacation. Unplugged.
I come back. No email registered. No username. I can still see the site – it is up of course, because WP does not delete accounts. But I cannot access it – “there is no user by this name”.
What happened? Do I have to do everything over? Did my inactivity cause my user name to get “eaten” by the cloud?
My personal blog is muchtobe
The username I created is epps.red (and can be seen from my new site)
The site I need help reviving from the lost corners of the web is RedResumeThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
The username I created is epps.red (and can be seen from my new site)
That is not a WordPress.com username as usernames here cannot contain punctuation marks. What you see on that site is the public display name, not the username. You can’t use the display name to log in.
The username that owns that site is sam12epps. That’s what you need to log into that site.
