created a redirect path and can not get back to “options” to fix it!

About a year ago I got a new Mac computer and thought that I wanted to use iWeb. So, I redirected my domain name http://www.darrendurrett.com to my new iMac address. I wanted to keep the two years worth of blogging and data in tact, so I went into the options tab and redirected my site to http://www.darrendurrett.com/oldblog so if anyone wanted to visit my old blog, it was still active and fully functional and when http://www.darrendurrett.com was typed in the address bar, the users were redirected to my iWeb site.

Well, after a year of messing around with iWeb, I decided that it stunk and I wanted to come home to WordPress. So, I simply took off the forwarding and attempted to go into my options panel and move the site back to the root. Something happened and now I can not log in or anything. half the site wants “oldblog” and the other half doesn’t. I backed up my database before doing all of this. My question is this:

Can I simply delete everything in the root folder, copy in the new wordpress and then it will work? or will I lose my data, i.e. posts? Also, there are several files in the root and I do not know what is absolutely needed. That is, do I need “SSL” and “db” and “logs”? I know I need wwwroot. ANy help would be greatly appreciated!
