created account in 2006 but can't access it anymore

  I created an account guruz.wordpress.com and never added any content to it. This was in 2006. Now I want to begin to use wordpress again but I can’t access the account. I tried several email addresses but there are others I had that are closed. I don’t know how to regain access to this blog. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

  I’m sorry but the long and short of this is what’s stated here ie. the email address is the unique identifier.

  the blog was guruz.wordpress.com. I created this new account (guruzllc.wordpress.com). No worries though, I can make do. Thanks for the help.

  Did you enter the user name “guruz”? The lost password will accept either a valid username or email as long as they are attached to that account / blog.

  Yeah, tried that. I don’t recall the password from 5 years ago. I tried to reset the password, but the reset email didn’t come to any of the email addresses I still have active.
