Created another WP site instead of connecting?

  Help! I am so confused as to what I did. I now have multiple domains and sites on WordPress and somehow lost the website I created initially when trying to connect a domain. Here’s what I know: I first created a WordPress site (dreamdifferentlivefree.wordpress.com) but realized that Hostinger would be cheaper to use as a host and for the domain name. So, I went with them and built out my site: dreamdifferentlivefree.com. However, it was too technical for me and I ran into issues with Hostinger customer service SO decided to connect my domain (not yet eligible for transfer) to WordPress site. Somehow, somehow I worked through the pages to Connect a Domain, and then at the end realized it created a new site: dreamdifferentlivefreedotcom.wordpress! I never typed out ‘dot com’ so have no idea how this happened. I then had 3 sites including a dreamdifferentlivefreecom.wordpress.com that I was able to delete entirely. At this point, I have two sites: dreamdifferentlivefree.com (primary domain) that also shows a domain dreamdifferentlivefreedotcom.wordpress.com (?!). The other site is dreamdifferentlivefree.wordpress.com. Neither of these sites look like the one I designed originally – they are just basic templates. I did the DNS info copy thing too (pasting wordpress dns records into the Hostinger domain settings area). I don’t understand what I did, where I’m at, or how this could get so messy so quickly. Can anyone help me clean it up? I just need one site dreamdifferentlivefree.com and if there’s any way to get back my original site design/copy that would be great.
