Created blog first, now can’t use that for username

    I created a blog “eileenhorwitz.wordpress.com” associated with my username “elijahhorwitz”.

    I would now like my mom to create just the username “eileenhorwitz” and I will invite her to be an admin for “eileenhorwitz.wordpress.com” now that it is set up.

    WordPress.com is saying the username is unavailable – probably because there is a blog with that name as I mentioned.

    Is there a way that I can unwind this so a username “eileenhorwitz” can be created?
