Created blog & posted, everything deleted

I just created a new blog and made a post. It was working fine but the next morning all the changes I had made (updating theme, etc.) and my first post were gone (page not found when I clicked the link to the post). Late in the afternoon it seemed to be working fine, but now it is morning again and everything has deleted. Any idea about what the problem could be?

It sounds like we have a server synch issue, but it’s hard to tell. Go to your Dashboard Posts page and see if the post you made is still there. Did you create it via the New Post button on the grey admin bar (never ever use it; the autosave doesn’t work and it loses a lot of posts).
What theme changes did you make?

No, the post is not listed there at the moment. I didn’t use the grey bar to create the post either, so that shouldn’t be an issue.
I only changed the actual theme of the page, and hasn’t yet made any changes to widgets or anything like that.
If it deleted completely I would just try re-posting, but the fact that it reappeared last night and was all there, and is now gone again, is what doesn’t make sense to me.
