Created blog under wrong account – before the right one existed.

  Hi,

  I was logged in as my business (OxingaleMusic) and I created a personal site (Lunapearlwoolf.wordpress.com). Then I decided I would rather have the username lunapearlwoolf for the personal blog, but it wouldn’t let me create a new user account under that name, presumably because oxingalemusic had already created the blog. I read that if I delete the blog it can’t be re-created…

  What should I do? Can I, for example, register a new username lunapearlwoolf1, and make myself the owner of lunapearlwoolf.wordpress.com — then will it allow me to change my username back to the same name as the blog I would then own??

  You won’t be able to register lunapearlwoolf as a username, since that’s take by the blog, but if you register lunapearlwoolf1 you can transfer the blog to it following this guide: http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/#transferring-your-blog-to-another-user-or-account
