Created domain name in someone else's account by mistake

  Using a computer that was used in a WordPress class, it was already logged into the student’s account. I accidentally registered a domain name forgetting that I was in the student account. I actually have a WordPress.com account: bradfordfilesonline.wordpress.com. The new domain, maureenbradford.com, should be applied to this website. I just paid for it. Can you assign this domain to bradfordfilesonline.wordpress.com and take it off http://mkprettyladies.wordpress.com?

  Hi Maureen,

  In order to move the domain to your other account, we’ll need a request from the current owner of the domain. Could you have the student that you accidentally purchased the domain under submit a request to help@wordpress.com asking to transfer the domain to your user account (maureenbradford) on the blog bradfordfilesonline.wordpress.com?

  It looks like Alex has already cancelled the domain to resolve the situation here:

  Alex issued a full refund for the domain when it was cancelled, so you’ll need to go through the purchase process again. Please let us know if we can do anything more to help with that process!
