Created home page but would like a link to latest post on it please

  I looked at the support video twice, I did honest :)
  but although I now have a home page I don’t understand
  how to make a connection to it from there which someone
  could click and reach my latest post.
  I made a second page as it said, but that one just appeared
  on my blog as a page.
  Please could you tell me how to fix it, thanks .

  What you will want to do is to add some content to your home page, perhaps a short introduction and then you can include a link to the blog page (Dove) at the bottom of that introduction. This support page tells how to add links in posts and pages: http://en.support.wordpress.com/links/ .

  Nice looking site by the way. I love the colors.

  Thankyou :) I followed what you said and have managed it.

  Thankyou too for liking the look of it; I have a horrible feeling you meant the rust and gold colours; and since I last posted I gave it a rather girly pink hue to match my butterfly pic on the home page sorry, will go back to the other colours when I find a matching pic.

  You are welcome, and it is your site, so you can use whatever colors you want. I like rusts and golds, but I’ve seen a number of sites with pink tones that were gorgeous and very well done.
