Created site using wrong email address
-
I have 2 email accounts – a personal one, and one I use for my business.
I created a wordpress site under my personal account accidentally!
Is there anyway of moving the site over to my business email account?
Thank you -
Update your email address on the account settings page: https://wordpress.com/me/account
Then click “Save Account Settings” and look for a confirmation email in your business email account. Click the link provided there to approve the update.

Thanks micawbr,
I have tried this but it says this account is already in use.
I signed in to that account (I haven’t created any sites using that email address) and tried to delete it, but I can’t figure out how to delete it. -
Please see these support docs:
Lost password form: https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword
Account Recovery Information: https://en.support.wordpress.com/account-recovery/
Delete site http://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/If you check each and every possible email address and account and are not successful gaining access to the blog(s) then you must complete the form for account recovery at this link https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=recovery and submit it to the Account Recovery Staff, and provide proof ownership, so they can contact you by email ie. not on these public support forums, which are available to everyone with internet access.
Every WordPress.COM blog has a sole owner. It is the person with the WordPress.COM username account who registered the blog under that username account and a single associated email address, and who is the original Admin of the blogs registered under that username account.
You have to be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog to access the blog’s dashboard to delete the site.
If you cannot provide proof ownership to Account Recovery Staff, so they can contact you by email ie. not on these public support forums, which are available to everyone with internet access then you have reached a dead end. However, if you cannot provide proof of ownership to them they cannot provide the email address you used at registration to you as that would breach privacy policy.
