created two sites in a single account. Need help with my blog address now.

    hello. i created the blog originally ‘https://wordpress.com/stats/day/youngforever21blog.wordpress.com’ with this blog address but i wanted to register a new address to the same blog, so i tried to rename it in the settings but instead ended up by creating two sites in same account.
    1-https://youngforever21blog.wordpress.com/
    2-https://kalrasvalley.wordpress.com/
    Now it asks me ‘SWITCH SITE’ at the top left bar whenever i clicks to ‘my site’ option.
    Also when i am referring my blog address to my friends it pops message after clicking to it as ‘ This site can’t be reached

    youngforever21blog.wordpress.com’s server DNS address could not be found.’
    I would really appreciate if i gets a solutions for this. thanku .

    Hi there,

    so i tried to rename it in the settings but instead ended up by creating two sites in same account.

    That’s how it’s supposed to work. Changing a site’s address empties the old address, and moves the content to a new address. The old address is only removed completely if you select the option to discard it while changing the address.

    Your sites can be reached at these links:

    https://kalrasvalley.wordpress.com/ and https://youngforever21blog.wordpress.com/. The second one is empty, as you changed the address to the new one.

    The link, https://wordpress.com/stats/day/youngforever21blog.wordpress.com, won’t work for anyone but you. That is the link to your site’s admin area, where you create posts and pages. That is not the link you should give to people to see your site.

    The Switch Site link allows you to choose which of the two sites you want to make changes to. Once again, that option is only available to you, not to people visiting your site.

    Both your sites work just fine for me. If you see that error message, please try clearing your browser cache.
