Creatief a new domain

    Hi,

    Recently we upgraded our site to WordPress Premium trail, as we wanted to get rid of the WordPress.com within the website adress and to be able to use more features from WordPress.

    After the upgrade we noticed that we are able to use the Premium features, but the website adress hasnt changed yet. Is it correct that we have to do this ourselves manually?

    Further more we noticed that we can add a new domain ourselves. Is the new domain registration for free in the Premium upgrade?

    We also want to know whether privately adding a domain is also included in the Premium upgrade?

    Please check Register a New Domain support document to get started with creating a custom domain.

    Is the new domain registration for free in the Premium upgrade?

    Yes, Custom Domain is one of the items in the Premium upgrade bundle. However you will have to pay additional fee to register domain with Private Registration.

    Thank you very much for your reply.

    I still have a question regarding the domain registration. I just tried to register a new domain. Indeed I see that the domain registration is for free as I have chosen a Premium bundle.

    However at the end of the page it is mentioned that private registration normally costs 8 euro per year, but it is free in the bundle I have chosen.

    Can someone confirm this, as I just dont want to end up arranging for cancellations.

    If you see the message that private registration is free in this bundle, then it is free.

    However I cannot confirm this so I tag this topic for staff’s attention. Please hold on until they come to help you out :-)

    Hi there,

    Yes, that is correct. WordPress.com Premium includes a free domain with private registration. Please let me know if you have any other questions about that. :)

    I still have the following queries regarding the Premium version that I activated last week with a 14 day trail period.

    * If I look at the different themes available for the Premium version I still see the prices. When will I be able to use these themes with the Premium bundle? (Will these themes be available for free within the Premium bundle after I have registered a new domain lafinetune.com? )

    * Will I get an email adress customized for our blog lafinetune.com within the Premium bundle? (Something like (email visible only to moderators and staff)?) If not how can I register such an email adress?

    1. Premium themes are sold separately and should be paid per theme; they are not part of the Premium upgrade.

    However Premium upgrade should be renewed annually but once purchased, a premium theme is yours forever.

    You can have unlimited premium themes at 120 USD but this upgrade should be renewed annually.

    2. You can create email id with your custom domain from various providers like Zoho, Yahoo, Gmail or Office 365. Please check Add Email support document for more information.
