creating a background color

    Lately, when I try to enter the code for the background color on a new page it won’t accept it but kicks out my code and defaults to one I don’t way.

    Site: (email visible only to moderators and staff).
    WP.com: Unknown

    I’d suggest you posted more details (what exactly and where would you like to modify) directly to https://wordpress.org/support/forums/.

    I noticed you’re currently using !important on your custom CSS – sometimes it’s not possible to avoid it, but in general, it’s not a good idea. Folks on the community forums may have more experience with Divi. It’s not developed by us, so we can’t really advise here.

    To clear up any further confusion, there is WordPress.com and WordPress.org, and they are two different entities.

    We, WordPress.com, are a cloud-based platform where we manage WordPress sites, whereas WordPress.org is stand-alone software that you can download and self-host with any other hosting.
