Creating a blog for someone else

  Hi, I want to create a blog for a friend of mine, but when I go to “create a new blog”, word press recognizes me and thinks I’m trying to create a second blog in my pre-existing account. How can I start a new account in someone else’s name?

  Hi Tommy,

  You will need to sign out of your current WordPress.com account and go to the WordPress.com homepage and then choose the “Get Started” button to create a new account.

  Be sure to use an email address your friend can access, or change the email address to theirs once you’re done, so they can access the account in the future if they lose the password.
