Creating a blog page for regular posts on a site with a static 'front' page?

  I have a static landing page but also a main menu blog page to which I now want to post content. I can find no way of doing this. I have removed the menu page, added content, and replaced it but it still finds nothing…leads nowhere. The site is involution-oddysey.com The blog page is called Careless Talk but even the title does not update from (Blog Scribe)

  Hi there,

  You will need to create an empty page called “blog” or whatever you’d like to call it. Then in Settings > Reading, under “Front Page displays”, choose the options for a static page. For Front Page displays, find the page you want to use for your home page, and for Posts page, choose the “blog” page you created, above.

  Thank you Jackiedana. I had done all that but I then actually worked out the reason was that I had not yet created a ‘post’ hence nothing showed up! Duh. Sorry and many thanks
